Butler Street and Printing Impressions Introduce the First Annual Best of Print & Digital™ Awards
Alliance Formed to Create the Industry Standard for Measuring Customer Loyalty
ATLANTA and PHILADELPHIA—September 1, 2015—Butler Street, a leading management consulting, training and research firm focused on client and talent development, has formed an alliance with Printing Impressions, America’s most influential and widely read resource for the printing industry, to provide the de facto industry standard for measuring customer loyalty through its Best of Print & Digital™ Customer Survey.
“Utilizing the Net Promoter® Score as the industry standard enables the nearly 30,000 printing, digital and printing-related companies to truly differentiate themselves in the marketplace by measuring each company’s performance through their customers’ eyes,” says Mike Jacoutot, Butler Street’s founder and managing partner. “Printing Impressions’ sponsorship allows Butler Street to leverage NAPCO Media’s vast industry experience, trusted Printing Impressions brand and media services to educate and expose more companies to the competition, resulting in a clear distinction for the Best of Print & Digital™ winners in their respective markets.”
The Net Promoter® Score, or NPS®, was developed in 2003 by Fred Reichheld and Bain & Company. The survey is based on one simple question: “How likely is it that you would recommend [your company] to a friend or colleague?” The foundation of the survey is that every company’s customers can be divided into three categories: Promoters, Passives and Detractors. Customers respond on a 0-to-10 point rating scale and are categorized as follows:
-
9-10 Promoters: very loyal and actively speak positively about your company
-
7-8 Passives: these are satisfied customers, but vulnerable to competitive threats
-
0-6 Detractors: these are unhappy customers who can damage your brand
“More and more industries are turning to the Net Promoter® Score for its high response rates and actionable insights,” adds Mark Subers, president/CRO of Printing, Packaging and Publishing for NAPCO Media. “Printing Impressions’ long history of being America’s most influential and widely read resource for the printing industry, combined with Butler Street’s breadth and depth of survey, consulting and training services, provides the resources for these organizations to adapt and prosper amidst the ever-changing print and digital landscape.”
Butler Street’s alliance with Printing Impressions is expected to include survey offerings segmented into two major categories:
-
Manufacturers to Distributors
-
Manufacturers/Distributors direct to Customers
This approach allows industry players to be measured according to their customers, whether those customers are distributors or end-user clients. Companies that are awarded the Best of Print & Digital™ will be able to clearly distinguish themselves from the rest of the market. The alliance is also expected to introduce both leader-led training and e-learning that will help companies improve their sales and customer service functions, resulting in improved customer retention and higher loyalty.
“Our desire to help drive growth for the printing industry is reflected in the Best of Print & Digital™,” offers Mary Ann McLaughlin, Butler Street managing partner. “The combination of Butler Street and Printing Impressions’ service offerings provide for industry benchmarking, diagnostics and company-specific roadmaps to improved customer loyalty and profitable growth.”
The registration for the survey will officially open Sept. 1st and companies can sign up through www.bestofprintanddigital.com. Surveys will be administered through December 3rd. Results will then be tabulated and winners of the 2016 Best of Print & Digital™ award will be announced in Printing Impressions and Print & Promo’s March 2016 issues in addition to the marketing community via NAPCO Media’s Target Marketing brand. The survey will be administered annually, opening in August.

The College of New Jersey 2013 Hall of Fame Induction Videos
Mike Jacoutot to Be Inducted into National Wresting Hall of Fame
Butler Street Founder Adds to Recent 100 Most Influential People in Staffing Award
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 25, 2015
The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced this week that Mike Jacoutot, Butler Street’s founder and managing partner, will be inducted into the Division III Hall of Fame on March 12 in Hershey, PA, site of the NCAA Division III National Championships. Jacoutot is one of only seventy wrestlers in Division III history to earn this prestigious honor. This award comes just a few months after Jacoutot was named to the “Staffing 100,” a list of the 100 most influential people in the $127 billion staffing industry. In October 2013, Jacoutot and his 1981 NCAA Division III Championship Team were inducted into The College of New Jersey Athletic Hall of Fame.
As a collegiate wrestler, Jacoutot was a four-time national finalist and 1981 NCAA Division III National Champion. He was also a member of three national championship teams. As a freshman, his second place finish led the University of Buffalo to the 1978 national championship. In 1979, he transferred to Trenton State College, now The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and led the Lions to national championships in 1979 and 1981. At TCNJ, Jacoutot was captain his junior and senior years. His teams went a combined 47-1 in dual meets and finished 14th in the 1981 Division I Championships. Jacoutot won two matches at the Division I national championships before falling in overtime in the All-American round. He posted a collegiate won-loss record of 126-19-4.
“It is clear that the focus and discipline that made Mike a champion wrestler, make him a champion business leader,” said Frank Olivieri, former collegiate baseball and football player and president, chief operating officer of SupplyLogic. “Butler Street is a clear example of this. They define winning and transfer that formula to their clients. I am fortunate to have experienced that first hand as Mike and his team have been an invaluable resource to SupplyLogic.”
“Mike was the impact athlete that TSC needed back in 1979 to push the program over the top,” said Joe Galante, TCNJ head wrestling coach. “Having worked with Mike on the TCNJ Wrestling Endowment Fund, I can speak first hand that his leadership is second to none.”
Jacoutot comes from a storied New Jersey wrestling family that has collected five individual national titles, eleven All-American titles and led their teams to five national championships. His brother Tom was inducted into the University of Buffalo Hall of Fame in 1988 and brother Tim was inducted into the TCNJ Hall of Fame in 2011. All three brothers won national titles with Tim winning three.
“Anyone that has worked with Mike can see the valuable lessons he learned wrestling and the positive impact on his approach to business,” said Mary Ann McLaughlin, Butler Street managing partner. “Butler Street incorporates much of those philosophies directly into our training programs.”
Jacoutot will enter the NWCA Hall of Fame along with former Division III wrestlers Cody Koenig, University of Wisconsin and Jason Bovenzi of St. Lawrence and Ithaca, as well as Augsburg assistant coach Scott Whirley and former head coach and current athletic director Jim Miller of North Central (Ill.).

Butler Street’s Jacoutot Named to Staffing 100 List
Former Staffing CEO Recognized as One of Most Influential in Staffing Industry
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 22, 2014
Mike Jacoutot, Founder and Managing Partner of Butler Street, a management consulting firm, has been named to the 2014 Staffing 100, a list of the 100 most influential individuals in the staffing industry.
The annual list includes the 100 most influential people in North American Staffing, nominated by readers and the Staffing Industry Analysts team, and includes honorees whom the magazine says are “leading lights of the industry.” The list appears in the October 2014 issue of Staffing Industry Review.
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts and to be included side by side with such an impressive list of leaders” Jacoutot said. “While I am truly honored, I would be remiss if I did not recognize my partners at Butler Street and the impact they have made on the staffing companies we serve. Our vision is to bring best practices to the staffing industry and this award certainly goes a long way to substantiate our efforts.”
Jacoutot is a former staffing company executive who was previously Managing Director of Operations and Chief Marketing Officer of Randstad as well as CEO of Supplemental Health Care, where his company made Staffing Industry Analysts “Fastest Growing” list four years in a row.
“There is no one more deserving of such an honor,” said Steve Whitehead, Chairman of the Employment and Labor Relations practice group for Taylor English Duma, LLP and an attorney who focuses on the staffing industry. “I worked with Mike when I was the General Counsel at Randstad and I represented Supplemental Health Care when Mike led that organization. I have seen firsthand the positive impact his client development programs can have on accelerating profitable growth. Butler Street’s knowledge of the staffing industry is second to none.”
Butler Street’s Managing Partner and former staffing executive Chief Operating Officer Mary Ann McLaughlin echoed Whitehead’s sentiments, “Mike has always focused on bringing best practices from other industries to the staffing industry.” said Ms. Mclaughlin. “The goal has always been to help companies and their people grow.”
Jacoutot and the other recipients were honored at reception during the ASA 2014 Staffing World conference on October 13 in National Harbor, Maryland.
